Galaphile was so angry, how could that just slip through his fingers like that! The whole Fourth Council could be destroyed if he didn't find a way to contain this soon. So he came here, to the Gardens Of Life, to check to Ellcrys, to relax in the beauty, to ponder how best to destroy the newest threat that encroached the Fourlands. He Pondered, walked, and waited...waited for the sign, the sign that would tell him what next to do. He knew it would come, the Shade of Tay Trefenwyd told him as much; it did however, conveniently leave out all th details. damnED SHADES!But what really bothered him the most was that he thought he knew who was responsible for this. He had done alot of thinking on the trip over, thinking about what the Shade said, about what could be happening, about who it could be. May the Fourlands be instantly destroyed if he was correct; for if he was a harsh trial by fire such as the Fourlands had never seen was in store for them.........

Eight days later, that was when the sign came. Galaphile was at the edge of his patience when it came, the Shade had lied to him! Regardless, the sign was not what he expected. And he was unprepared, and at the base of the Ellcrys when it came; a short bust of fire that hit the tree directly. It was then that he remebered the Shades warning of it being and enemy to whom he was to meet. *damn me for a fool!* he thought to himself, yet remained outwardly calm. he stepped in front of the line of fire and, using the most basic od Druid magick, sent it back at the attacker, and hit him, directly in the heart:that is, of course, assuming it was indeed human and did at leats have a heart. As soon as he did this the Ellcrys slipped a branch upon his shoulder, revealing new and concluding teh old suspicions in that single touch. By the time the would-be attacker was off the gorund Galaphile was invisible, safe behind a wall of magick, at the base of The Tree. It was there he heard what the creature in the Garden said "The tree will be destroyed, the Lord of War risen again, and all evil vanquished will be set upon Paranor; march on the Fourlands, and destroy the prison of the Jarka Ruus! FOREVER!" Galapile was quite sure, due to his rantings, and tone of voice that whoever this man was he was quite insane; but before he could think on it the creature disapeared in a puff of smoke. Black, sulfuric, and clearly demonic smoke and was gone. In the next instance, so was Galaphile.....
